Your Business Times Two
I think most of you know that I like to set goals and we all know that the start of a new year is a great time to get focused on some new goals or even readjust your existing ones. I have some personal goals for this year that maybe we can talk about another time, but today Id like to talk about my goals for our business. I cant take all the credit for the business goals as there are a lot of people involved in setting the direction for our company. Our executive team meets with Rex and sets some targets, we present them to our leaders around the world, listen to their feedback, make some adjustments and then, its time to go to work!
After going through this process over the past few months, we have come up with a simple goal that is going to stretch all of us. But, if we all get involved and accept the challenge the effect on our businesses and our company will be incredible!
Our goal is to double sales! That’s it! It’s as simple as that. If we can double our sales, we can help twice as many people all over the world look better and feel better.
I know what you might be thinking and, you’re right! It’s an ambitious goal but that’s exactly what the best kind of goals are. They are the goals that keep you striving every day to do a little bit more. Hopefully, many of you have set goals like this for yourself. We recognize that it might take some time to achieve this goal but, that’s okay because we also recognize that anything worth doing is worth the wait!
Doubling our sales won’t just come from talking about it. It will take hard work and passion and maybe even a little blood, sweat and tears. Just imagine the payoff of all of that hard work – twice the customers, twice the revenue, twice the people whose lives have been changed for the better, all because of your actions. That’s incredibly powerful.
So, where do we begin? Doubling our sales starts at the very base of what you do every day. Do you normally speak to five people a day about the products and opportunity? Make it a goal to reach out to 10. Do you host one opportunity meeting online or in your community each week? Why not two? Do you normally do two in home product launches a month... you see where I’m going with this. By finding ways to double every activity in your business, you’ll create double the customers, product enthusiasts, brand advocates, supervisors, managers, eagle managers... you get the idea.
This activity is the base of our business. There is no shortcut, no easy path to success and no quick way to double our sales. I know that but, by doubling even the most basic activities in your business, you will recognize the power and importance of each of these tasks. I realize this change won’t happen overnight. It will take you time to adjust to these new activities in your business, but I challenge you to rise to the occasion. You have nothing to lose but untapped potential and opportunity.
